Juin 1996, Metallica entame la promo de "Load" en s'attaquant a un
festival itinérent réputé alternatif. La polémique persiste donc.
Sur ces 21 dates, Psychotica, Screaming Trees, Rancid, The Ramones,
Devo et Soundgarden, entre autres, accompagnent Metallica. Flash-Back : le 26 août 1995 Metallica était pour la première fois la
tête d'affiche de Castle Donington. La même année, le groupe se produit en Alaska !
